World War 1

Today it was Monday and we had a important assembly celebrating the 100th years of the World War 1. I have learnt that lots of families lost there family members is sad. The mens had a long way to get where the war was and it took weeks and weeks to get there because they were travelling in boats, ships, and planes.It took 4 years for the World War 1 to finish which is 1914 to 1918. More countries joined one of the 2 sides.


The countries that joined were Russia, France, British Empire, Italy, United States and More countries.
When the World War 1 had finished the mens were so happy to come home and see there families again but it was sad that they were injured and had to walk in walking sticks. But it was sad for those who have past away and been killed because they never get to be with there families anymore.
