We are learning about a life cycle of a Monarch Butterfly. As you can see I have my story about how the Eggs survive.So have a look and I hope you have learnt anything.

A Life Cycle of a Monarch Butterfly

This is about the life cycle of a Monarch butterfly.  The life cycle starts as a tiny egg changes through different stages, turns inside out and becomes a butterfly.

The egg

The life-cycle begins with the female butterfly attaching the egg to a milk weed plant.  The egg is tiny, round and has ribs.  

The Caterpillar

When the egg turns into a Caterpillar it eats lots of leaves on the swan plant.When the Caterpillar think’s  he had enough it Changes to a Chrysalis.Another name for a Caterpillar is a larva

Chrysalis

when the butterfly turn into a Chrysalis it turns overwinter.The Caterpillar turns inside out and it hangs on a swan plant and it pushes it’s old skin off.Did you know that another name of a Chrysalis is Pupa.

Butterfly
A  Butterfly is an adult, A Monarch butterfly has orange and black wings. A Female butterfly lays eggs on a Swan plant.The Monarch butterfly can only lay at least 4 or 6.

We Predict that,
1.Most of the boys will like Stan Walker as there favourite singer than the girls.
2. The girls like the teacher than the boys.
3.Most of the the girls will like Lorde as the favourite singer.
4.There are more girls will like rihanna than the boys.

We found out that ,
1, I was right that most of the boys like Stan Walker as there favourite singer.
2. All of the girls like there teacher and some boys don't.
3. The girls do like Lorde than the boys.
4. And I was also right that there are more girls that like Rihanna than the boys.

My Holidays

Hi my name is Taunese and this is my first post in 2014, this post is about what I did in the holidays. So have a read and I hope you enjoy it.

It was Saturday night and we were at the park watching Wreck it Ralph.It was nearly the

whole of Glen Innes came to the park. Before we went to the park we went to the shops to buy chips and drinks to eat at the park.

When we got to the park ,it was already full of families and kids. When the movie started we sat down and ate our chips. We were going to go at our aunt's house but I wanted to stay and watch. It was kind of boring so I went on the tornado with my sisters and played on it. I was so tired of sitting on the ground because I couldn't see  anything at all because my brother was  in the way so I went on top of the slide and watched from there.

The movie was nearly finished and everyone was starting to leave the park. My brother, John was so tired and he wanted to sleep. So my mum said to pack up because we were leaving. We saw my big brothers and his friends walking past. My Mother told them to be careful with the cars. As my dad opened the door I me and my sister raced to the fridge to get a milk shake. Tomorrow was Sunday  and we had to wake up early and go to church, so my mum said to us to go to bed. Soon after I brushed my teeth and went to bed.

My favourite part was when I was sitting on the slide. My best part in the movie was how Wreck it Ralph was chasing the little girl,that was so funny. I wish that some days something like this would happen some days in the park.
