Today for maths we are learning about a strategy called BEDMAS, this stands
for Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction.
This is a quick activity for us to experience this strategy to solve long mixed
questions.

Nervous Rugby Players

Watching the big girls from other schools walk by. I can’t believe what I just saw, these girls were as big as 17 year olds. Then hearing voices from my rugby team “ wooooah are we playing them” they whispered to each other, it sounded as if they were nervous players panicking. I can feel their emotions as soon as they  saw these aggressive looking players. Not wanting to be part of the team or being on the field when it’s time. Tasting my players feelings, they were as nervous as I was. But in my head I just wanted everyone to have fun. Then smelling my cheesy pizza bread that my mum have packed for my lunch. Taking a bite into my pizza bread “ Yum”  I whispered, this pizza bread just made my nervous feelings go away. Even though my team was having such a bad time. I was enjoying my lunch.

Monsoon Flood

Our activity for this week was to read a story called The Monsoon Flood and

Thank You Miss Stuhlmann

For the past 5 weeks Miss Stuhlmann had the chance to be a student teacher at our school in room 3.  This is her last day at our school and I hope she has been enjoying her 5 weeks with us especially with me. Thank you Miss Stuhlmann for everything you have taught us room 3 and myself. I wish you the best as you go of to teach at another school. We will miss your voice in class and the chocolates you give us every Fridays. Good Luck at your new school. From your favourite student, Taunese.
